LITTLE FALLS—Sharon Herringshaw, 55 of Falls Court Apartments, died unexpectedly Monday, July 29, 1996, in her home.

She was born, Sept. 7, 1940, in Ilion, a daughter of the late Kenneth S. and Rosella Mae Mickel Klock. A lifelong area resident, she was a graduate of Herkimer High School, Class of 1958. For five years, she worked in the housekeeping department of Valley Health Services Inc. until 1993. She had lived for the past two years in Little Falls, coming from East Herkimer. Sharon will always be remembered for her quiet, gentle way and her warm smile.

Surviving are her daughter, Joanne and her husband Richard Reel of Herkimer, her son Keith Robert and his wife Kelly Herringshaw of Greenville, S.C.; her sisters Rose and her husband Rocky Rockwell of Herkimer, and June and her husband Robert E. McPherson of Mohawk; four brothers, William R. Klock, Howard and his wife Cathy Klock, Kenneth Jr. and his wife Joyce Klock, all of Herkimer, Vernon and his wife Janet Klock of Little Falls; a sister-in-law, Carol Klock of Herkimer; two granddaughters, Alexis Harringshaw and Rachel Reel; special friends, Helen Gardner and Evelyn Janeka; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Klock in 1993.

Her funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Court St., Herkimer, with the Rev. James DeWitt, pastor of the Mohawk Reformed Church officiating. Interment will follow in Middleville Cemetery.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
