SALT LAKE CITY - Rick Klock, who lived and loved in so many places he called home, left us on July 4th, 2002 to be with his daughter Rebby. He was born January 15, 1953 in Hawthorne, California.

This wild and crazy man touched so many lives leaving a legacy of joyous memories for his family and his friends. He would not want us to feel the pain of grief, but rather smile and laugh as we recall good times spent together.

Surviving are his children, Christine Vaught, Murray; David Klock, Eden; son-in-law, Kevin Vaught, Murray; his father and step-mother, Keith and Mary Klock, Morro Bay, CA; two sisters, Lynda (Jim) Nelson, Barbara Goedart; his former wife, Paula Woods; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca; mother, Betty Klock; and a former wife, Sharon Klock.

His children invite all who knew Rick to join in a celebration of his life at The Water Pavilion at Red Butte Gardens, 300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, on Monday, July 8, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends will then gather at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd., from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. to accompany Rick to Ben Lomond Cemetery where he will rest beside his daughter. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m.

The family has requested donations in lieu of flowers to Primary Children’s Hospital, 100 North Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84113 in the names of Rick and Rebecca Klock.
