Myra J. Powell Klock

Mrs. Sheldon E. Klock died very suddenly at midnight Saturday at her late home on the turnpike one half mile east of St. Johnsville. Her many friends will be painfully surprised as no one knew that she was ill until advised of the fact of her death. Mrs. Klock was born in Vienna in 1847, the daughter of Mary Tracy and Lohman Powell. Since her marriage to Sheldon E. Klock, she has resided at the farm home where she died. The Klock homestead is one of the finest in the valley and the couple were held i the very highest esteem by a wide circle of acquaintances. Mrs. Klock was a member of the M. E. Church, was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Clifford T. Darby of North Branch and Frank E. Klock of Willimet, Ill. Funeral Director C. C. Lull has charge of the remains.

The funeral of Mrs. Sheldon E. Klock will be held Wednesday at the residence, Rev. B. G. Miller officiating. Interment in Prospect View Cemetery.
