Date of Obit. May 29, 1920

Mrs. Mary Frances Klock 80, widow of Myron Klock and one of the oldest and most respected residents of Canastota, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Charles H. Skelton on Saturday morning about one o'clock. She had been in poor-health for some time, but just lately had seemed to feel better and early in the week she went for an automobile ride to Syracuse and back.

She was born at Beeebe's Bridge, the daughter of William Henry and Anna Stroud Beebe and was married to Mr. Klock in 1861. For many years they lived on the well known Klock Farm on Seneca Turnpike between here and Wampsville and during her long and busy life, until her health broke down she was always active in the social and religious life of the village. Some years ago the family moved from their farm to the village. Since her husbands's death she has made her home with her only daughter Mrs. C. H. Skelton. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and a charter-member of the Lenox Grange.

Funeral services were private and were held at her late home-- Monday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. W.V. TeWinkle officiation. Burial was in Mount Pleasant cemetery.
