Kenneth Klock

Herkimer—Kenneth Sherman Klock, 65 of Shells Bush Road, East Herkimer, died yesterday in Herkimer Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Middleville, on September 26, 1904, the son of Sherman O. and Edra Starkings Klock and married Rose Mickle here on December 14, 1933. They have lived in East Herkimer for the past 30 years.

He was first employed as a printer for the Earl Kirby Printers, and later by the Herkimer Remington Arms Company, and as a mechanic for the former Brown Brothers Automobile Agency. He retired as a driver for the Herkimer County Highway Department in 1965.

He was a member of the East Pond Fish and Game Club, Tupper Lake, and the United Methodist Church here.

Besides his wife he leaves five sons, James, William, and Howard, all of East Herkimer and Vernon of Little Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Sharon) Herringshaw, Little Falls, Mrs. Ronald (Rose) Rockwell, East Herkimer, and Mrs. Robert (June) McPherson, Ilion; and a sister, Mrs. Curly (Mildred) Skinner, of Roswell, N.M.; 22 grandchildren, a nephew and a cousin.

The funeral will be at 9 Wednesday from the Fenner Funeral Home with the Rev. Merle O. Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Middleville Cemetery.

Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 today.
