Obit of Jonas Klock from the Enterprise And News,
St. Johnsville, NY.

April 4, 1928

The death of Jonas Klock at the home of Albert Frederick at west St. Johnsville Tuesday morning rings to a close a useful live. Mr. Klock was a a well known farmer residing northeast of the Village. He was 82 years old. A week ago he suffered an accident breaking his leg and crushing his hip. The roads were so bad that in order to get daily medical attendance he was brought to Mr. Frederick’s where he died. Jones Klock was a descendant of the pioneer Klock family and among His characteristics was an exceptional kindliness of manner, which endeared him to his fellow men.

He was devoted to his chosen occupation of farming and was careful and painstaking worker. He is survived by his wife and one son, Sheldon also a brother Sheldon Klock of this village.

Funeral services will be held from the home of Mr. Frederick Friday at 2:00 p.m. Interment Will be made in Prospect View Cemetery.
