John L. Klock

Graveside services at the St. Johnsville Cemetery were held Thursday afternoon for John L. Klock, 79, former resident, of Syracuse, who died Monday.

Born in St. Johnsville on Aug. 5, 1899, he was the son of Lip and Alma Nellis Klock. He was married to Margaret Wardell who died several years ago.

He was employed as a projectionist by the St. Johnsville theatre. Later he moved to Syracuse where he was employed in the same capacity until his retirement several years ago.

Survivors include two sons, Walter and John Klock, both of Syracuse; three daughters, Mrs. Valetta Brown, Evelyn, and Mrs. Margaret Bevins, all of Syracuse; three brothers, Walter Klock, Albany, Adam and Lip Klock, both of St. Johnsville; a sister, Mrs. Marguerite Wilber, New Orleans, La.; 13 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
