HERKIMER-- James K. Klock, 57, of 609 Malcolm St., died unexpectedly on Monday, March I, 1993 in St. Luke's-Memorial Hospital Center, Mohawk Valley Division.

He was born on April 8, 1935, in Herkimer, a son of the late Kenneth S. and Rosella Mae Mickle Klock. A graduate of Herkimer High School, he was a lifelong resident of both Herkimer and East Herkimer. On April 4. 1959, he married Carol Perry in St. Francis de Sales Church, Herkimer.

In 1951, he enlisted in the New York Army National Guard, serving 30 years retiring as a first sergeant in 1981. Jim also a retired New York State employee, working 1961 to 1971 and 1981-1992. He was a member of the East Herkimer and Dolgevil1e Fish and Game clubs, National Rifle Association and Old Timers Club of Company D.

Surviving besides his wife of 33 years, Carol, are a son, Jeffery and wife Kimberly Klock, a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Julie) Miles, all of Herkimer; four brothers, William R. and Howard Klock, both of Herkimer, Kenneth Klock Jr. of East Herkimer and Vernon Klock of Little Falls; three sisters, Sharon Herringshaw, of East Herkimer, Rose Rockwell of Herkimer and June McPherson of Mohawk; a granddaughter, Jennifer Klock of Herkimer; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Fenner Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Court St. Spring interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Calling hours are today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to MOVAC would be appreciated. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
