Ann Klock, widow of Henry D. Elwood, died at her home near Amsterdam in the
town of Florida Sunday morning from pneumonia in her eightieth year. Mrs.
Elwood was the sister of Hiram Klock of this town and a member of the Klock
family, prominent in the history of St. Johnsville and vicinity, and was born
in September, 1824. She had been a resident of Florida for othe past thirty-six
years. One son, Emory Elwood, survives. The funeral was held at her home yesterday
morning. The interment was made at Minaville.
