Evelyn T. Klock, 87, of West Chicago passed away Saturday (December 2, 2000) at her home. She was born September 24, 1913 in Wheaton the daughter of Joseph and Amalia Kuhn and resided in West Chicago since 1938.

Mrs. Kloch was a member of St. Mary's Church, Catholic Daughter of America Court 432 and chairwomen of their card marathon and also taught CCD to the children for many years. Member of Winfield Homemakers Extension and The Glass Club.

Survived by her daughter Dianne (Robert) Bowie of West Chicago; two sons, James (Mary) Klock Sr. of Batavia, and William Klock of West Chicago; six grandchildren, Kristina Krug, Michael Chiplis, June Chiplis, James P. Klock Jr., Andrew (Megan) Bowie and Robin Bowie; great granddaughter, Brittany Bowie; a sister, Betty Lou (Richard) Kammes of Carol Stream; a brother, Arthur (Virginia) Kuhn of California.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph N. Klock in 1986; granddaughter, Fiona Bowie; and her parents.

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 140 N. Oakwood Ave., West Chicago. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wheaton.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago.

Contribution in Mrs. Klock's memory may be made to St. Mary's Building Fund.
