Obituary of Elizabeth Viola Klock Scott Pulaski, New York

" MRS. SCOTT DEAD OF HEART AILMENT "

The death of Mrs. Elizabeth Klock Scott, 69, widow of William G. Scott, occurred early last Thursday at the home of Miss. Irene Hunggerford in Mexico. ( New York ) Mrs. Scott was born in Oswego in 1867, a daughter of Simeon Klock and Elizabeth Jones Klock. Much of her childhood and early years of maturity were spend in this village, it was here she married Mr. Scott, then deputy sheriff. After the expiration of Mr. Scott's term, as deputy Sheriff, the family moved to Pittsburgh, Penn., several years later returning to Pulaski where Mr. Scott died March 1927. Mrs. Scott was a member of Pulaski Congregational Church, Ontario Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and Oswego chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sons, Harold K. Scott of Kenmore, NY and John Albert Scott of Rochester, two grandchildren, one sister, Miss. Adeline Klock of Oswego, and several nephews and nieces. The body was brought to the home of her nephew, Frederick A. Clark, Lake Street, by Albert E. Lawrence, local undertaker, where the funeral was held Saturday.

Rev. Alfred W. Budd of the Congregational Church, was the officiating clergyman. Burial was in Pulaski cemetery.
