Barbara Klock

Mrs. Barbara Klock, ??? of Amos Klock died at the residence of Mrs. Mary Yoran on Washington street, where she had been residing on Friday night from the results of a prarlytic stroke, which she recieved about two weeks ago, at the age of 85 years. Deceased was the last of a once prominent and influential family, whose homestead is located near St. Johnsville. In her younger years Mrs. Klock taught school in the country districts hereabouts and after her marriage to Mr. Klock, she moved to Little Falls and resided there for some years. After the death of Mr. Klock she again took up her residence with her brothers, the Messrs. Richard and Henry Kennedy of this town. Her nearest surviving relatives are nieces and nephews of her late husband. Mrs. Klock is reported as being very wealthy and left provisions that $2,000 should be spent on her funeral. The casket which she was buried in on Monday is the McKinley style, and consists of a cedar shell, enclosed in solid copper, covered with the best imported English broadcloth, with solid silver handles. The remains were laid out in her wedding dress, and all momentos of her late husband was buried with her. The funeral was held Monday with Rev. O. J. Hogan officiating and interment made in Mount Prospect Cemetery.
