Almina Jane Stewart Klock

Widow of the late Robt. Klock of this place, died at the home of her son, Wm. Stewart, at Gloversville, Friday morning, from a stroke of paralysis. The deceased was born in Oppenheim. The deceased was married in 1840 to William B. Stewart of Oppenheim. He died in 1884. In 1897 the deceased was married to Robert Klock of this place, where she resided until her late husband's death in 1899, when she removed to Gloversville to reside with her children. She is survived by three sons, Willard N., John C., and William H. Stewart of Gloversville; Mrs. Charles A. Kibbe of Chicago and Mrs. Philo E. Johnson of Gloversville. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. The funeral was held Monday at 12:00. Rev. C. C. Douglass officiating. The body was brought to this village for burial Monday, Rev. G. J. Hogan conducting the committal service at the grave.

Almina Jane Steward's first husband was William H. Steward whom she married in 1840. He died in 1884. Almina and William Steward had three sons, Willard N., John C. and William H. Steward. They lived in Gloversville, N.Y.

Almina Jane married Robert Klock, (John H. Klock, Henrick Johannes Klock, Johannes I. Klock, Hendrick Klock) in 1897, after the death of her first husband.

Robert Klock’s first wife was Catherine Snell. Robert Klock was born July 25, 1812 and died June 26, 1899. Robert and Catherine Snell had three children; Marcus B. Klock, born September 19, 1841; Mary M. Klock, born March 28, 1847 and Amanda Klock who was born September 09, 1851. Robert and his second wife Almina Jane did not have any children.
I do not know the maiden name of Almina Jane Steward Klock.
