Betty Ruth Klock, 65, of R.R.1 Herndon, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, in Sunbury Community Hospital.

Born October 6, 1939 in Herndon R.R., she was a daughter of the late Earl John and Ida Erdman Kissinger.

She was a Nurses Assistant at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg and a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Red Cross.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lee Stuter on Dec. 24, 2004, two brothers, Ralph and Alvin Kissinger; and a grandchild.

Surviving are her husband, Wilson H. Klock; a daughter, Lynette Miller of Lykens; six sisters, Anna Holenbach of Klingerstown, Alma Etzweiler of Herndon, Hilda Walter of Philadelphia, Shirley Matter of York, Violet Snyder of Millersburg and Bonnitta Lesher of Herndon; a brother, Marlin Kissinger of Herndon; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Daniel Stuter of Mifflinburg.

Religious service were held Monday, Jan. 3, at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, with the Rev. Glen B. Keidel, Jr., officiating. Interment was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, was in charge of arrangements.
