Rites Monday For William Klock.
Ogdensburg

The funeral for William A. Klock, 74, of 948 Elizabeth St., retired carpenter who died unexpectedly Thursday evening at Rose, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home.

Rev. Donald Casselman, First Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Ogdensburg Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends may make a donation to a favorite charity in his memory.

Surviving are his wife, Emma; a son, Darrell, Buffalo; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Lorraine) Awan, Ogdensburg; three grandchildren, six step-sons, Struan Lemke, Liverpool, George Lemke, Ogdensburg, Charles Winters , Alabama, John Winters, New Jersey, William Winters, Lockport and Daniel Winters, Maine; two step-daughters, Mrs. Jane Gillespie, Arizona and Mrs. Sally Coonradt, Schenectady; two sisters, Miss Myrtle Klock and Mrs. Mildred Groulx, both of Ogdensburg, a half-brother, Fred Weir, Fairport and nieces and nephews. A half-brother, Lloyd Weir, died earlier.

"He was born at Edwards, Oct. 30, 1906, son of Amos N. and Mabel Barber Klock, and married Marie Foster June 7, 1928. His first wife died March 2, 1963 and in December 1965, he married Mrs. Elizabeth Winters who died Dec. 30, 1974. He married Mrs. Emma Lemke Nov. 21, 1975.

Mr. Klock had worked most of his life as a self-employed carpenter. H e was a member of United Methodist Church, Ogdensburg Lodge 128, F. & A . M., Maple City Chapter 71, Order of the Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth."

William Amos Klock, (Amos Nelson, Bates Aaron, Luther, John J. Jr., John J., Johannes J. and Hendrick Klock) was born October 30, 1906, in Edwards, St. Lawrence, NY and died April 09, 1981. He was married three times, first to Mamie Beatrice Foster, second to Elizabeth Gilbert and his last wife was Emma Mae Tooley. He had two children with his first wife, Mamie Foster; Lorraine Beatrice and Darrell Williams Klock.

Woman, 64, Expires. Ogdensburg

There will be a memorial service in t he spring for Mrs. Elizabeth Winters Klock, 64, wife of William A. Klock, who died Tuesday morning at Sanford, Fla., where the couple spent their winters. Burial will be in Ogdensburg Cemetery in the spring.

"She is survived by her husband; four sons, Charles Winters, Endwell; William Winters, Lockport; John Winters, Brunswick, Me., and Daniel W inters, Brunswick, Me.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Jane) Gillespie and Mrs. Dakin W. (Sally) Coonradt, both of Schenectady; one step-son, Darrell Klock, Tonawanda; one step-daughter, Mrs. Donald (Lorraine) Awan, Ogdensburg; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Carrier, Ogdensburg, and Mrs. Carl (Lena) Rood, Crary Mills; one brother, Albert Gilbert, Ogdensburg, and 26 grandchildren.

She was born in Ogdensburg, Sept. 18, 1910, daughter of Albert and Mabel Trickey Gilbert. She married Charles Winters, Aug. 11, 1926, and h e died in a hunting accident in 1963.

She was married to William A. Klock in December 1966 at St. John's Episcopal Church. She was active at St. John's Episcopal Church. She was a past noble grand of Eureka Rebekah Lodge 129 and a past matron of the peace court, order of the Amaranth. She was a past matron of Maple City Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star."

Emma Tooley Lemke was the second wife of William Klock (Amos Nelson, Bates Aaron, Luther, John J. Jr., John J., Johannes J. and Hendrick Klock.) William was first married to Mamie Beatrice Foster. They had two children; Darrell and Lorraine.
