Klock Funeral Set Thursday. Gouverneur, Oct. 9

The funeral for William J. Klock, 83, Gouverneur, retired farmer who died Monday at Potsdam hospital, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Sprague funeral home. Rev. Stanley E. Brown, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate an burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie P. Klock; four sons, Kenneth and Earl F., both of Gouverneur; Milton, Portland, Ore., and Lloyd, in the army at Ft. Gordon, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Eva) LaRock, Gouverneur; Mrs. Bernard (Gladys) O'Leary, Norfolk, and Mrs. John (Betty) Narrow, Hudson; a sister, Mrs. Anna Bressett, Ogdensburg, and 25 grandchildren.

William ( Jacob or James ) Klock (Bates Aaron, Luther, John J. Jr., John J., Johannes J. and Hendrick Klock) was born August 28, 1880 and died October 07, 1963. He married Minnie Mae Peck on November 04, 1916. She was born November 04, 1897 Gouverneur, St. Lawrence, New York and died November 01, 1986. William and Minnie had the following children; Kenneth, Milton, Earl, Charles, Eva, Lloyd, Gladys and Betty.

Minnie May Klock Dies at Nursing Home. Minnie May Klock, 88, of Plaza Drive, formerly of Gouverneur, died at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Madonna Home where she had been a patient for about one year.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sprague Funeral Home, Gouverneur, with Rev. Stanley E. Brown, pastor of United Church, Richville, officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Gouverneur.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Surviving are three sons, Milton, Gaston, Ore., Earl, Gouverneur, and Floyd, Watertown; three daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Eva) LaRock, Gouverneur, Mrs. Bernard (Gladys) O'Leary, Nofolk, and Mrs. John (Betty) Nero, Hudson; 27 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
