Vivian G. White, 80, Benson Mines, Dies.
Star Lake.

Vivian G. White, 80, LaRose Road, Benson Mines, died Friday morning at her home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hawley Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hall officiating. Burial will be in Oswegatchie Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p .m. Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Surviving are two sons, Merrill B., Canton, and George A., Texico, I ll.; three daughters, Betty I. Hitchman, Margaret G. Boula and Marelyn E . White, all of Star Lake; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, George and James Jackson, a stepbrother, Carlton Bres set, a sister, Kathleen Adams, and a grandson died before her.

Born April 5, 1914, in Gouverneur, daughter of Andrew and Anna Klock Jackson, she attended Gouverneur schools and married Kenneth George White April 18, 1932. Mr. White died Oct. 7, 1964, at the age of 55.

Mrs. White was employed in restaurants in the Star Lake area for most of her working years. She was a Gold Star Sister of Mervin Eno American Legion Post 1539.

Vivian G. White, was the daughter of Andrew S. Jackson and Hannah E. (Klock) Jackson (Bates Aaron, Luther, John J. Jr., John J., Johannes J. and Hendrick Klock). Vivian was born April 05, 1914, and died April 29, 1994. She married Kenneth White (Obituary below) on April 18, 1932. Vivian and Kenneth White had five children.

Kenneth White Dead, Aged 55.
Star Lake, Oct. 8.

Kenneth George White, 55, Jones and Laughlin Steel firm employee, died Wednesday in the Clifton-Fine hospital. He had been admitted with a heart condition.

The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Star Lake Presbyterian church with Rev. Arthur Goyette, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oswegatchie cemetery.

Friends may call at the family home in Star Lake today and Friday.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Vivian White, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Betty Lee Hitchman, Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Boula, jr., and Ma rilyn, all of Star Lake; two sons, Merrill, at home, and George, in the Navy at Norfolk, Va.; four sisters, Mrs. William (Goldie) Shore, Miss Beaulah White, both of Hogansburg, Mrs. John (Nervia) Rutherford, Lisbon, and Mrs. Bernice Eldridge, Baldwinsville, and his father, George White, Hogansburg.
Born on Cornwall Island May 25, 1909, a son of George and Mary Bruce White, he attended schools in Madrid and was married in Ogdensburg on April 28, 1932. He had worked for the Jones and Laughlin Steel Company 16 years.
