Klock, Ruby C. Madison

Ruby C. Klock age 87, of Madison, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born on May 21, 1917, in Leland, Iowa, the daughter of Olaf and Tillie (Tofsrud) Swenson. Ruby married Simon Klockon Oct. 10, 1936, in Freeport, Ill. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Ruby is survived by a son, Keith Klock of Madison; a daughter, Karen (Robert) Bradley of Middleton; eight grandchildren, Sheryl Frazier, Kathryn (Dale) Rockett, Dale Sachtjen, Shelby (Jack) Hart, Bradley (Michelle)Klock, Tonya (James) Rockett, Donna Sachtjen and Bryan Davis; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Lorraine Orth of Hudson, Fla.; a brother, Sherman (Virginia) Swenson of Madison; a son-in-law, Raymond Sachtjen; a brother-in-law, Ronald (Darlene) Klock of Madison; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a daughter, Audrey Sachtjen.

A funeral service will be held at Gunderson East Funeral Home , 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004. The Rev. Berndt Tweit presiding. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ruby's name may be made to the Building Fund of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School, 2670 Milwaukee St., Madison, WI 53704. "Mother" There's a dear little house inviting in a dear little place I know, and a welcome is always waiting when to that little house I go. For there lives the dearest lady, the sweetest I ever met.
