Marva A. Klock, 52, Dies

Marva A. Klock, 52 Greene Settlement, near Adams Center, died at 3:10 Friday afternoon in Pine Camp hospitol, after an illness of four days.

Funeral services were held at the family home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. C. B. Wallace, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial was in Smithville cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Alfred Klock, at home and a brother, Elmer Klock of Watertown.

Mr. Klock was born at Depauville, July 4 1892, the son of Henry and Margaret Hagen Klock. He moved to Greene Settlement as a young man and had since resided there.

He married Miss Edna Trowbridge of Adams Center May 22, 1912.

He was employed by the town of Adams for 16 years. For the past three years, he had been employed by the post engineers at Pine Camp.

Mrs. Edna C. Klock, 75 Adams Center, Widow of Marva A. Klock, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31 in the House of the Good Samaritan.

The funeral was Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Piddock funeral home. Burial was in Smithville cemetery.

She is survived by a son, S. Alfred, and a granddaughter, Cindy Sue Klock, of Adams Center.

Mrs. Klock was born in the Town of Adams on July 24, 1894, daughter of Seth and Minnie Thomas Trowbridge. She was educated in Adams school and was married to Marva A. Klock on May 22, 1912. The couple spent most of their married lives in the Adams Center region. Mr. Klock died in May 1945.

She was a member of the Adams Center Grange and firemen's auxiliary.
