Funeral of Mrs. Klock is Sunday

Adams [NY], 21 Oct [1939] -- Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret D. Klock, 69, who died suddenly following a heart attack at her home in Smithville, Friday morning at 5, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the home in Smithville. Rev. Ivan M. Cash, pastor of the First Day Baptist church at Adams Center will officiate. Burial will be made in the Smithville cemetery.

She was born 12 Aug 1870, the daughter of James and Jane Carris Hagan, in the Town of Alexandria near Plessis. She lived her early life in this vicinity and was married on 26 Nov 1885, in Redwood, to Henry D. Klock. The couple had always engaged in farming until four years ago when Mr. Klock retired from this occupation.

Mrs. Klock is survived besides her husband by four sisters, Mrs. Alice Walts, Omar; Mrs. Hattie Eichorn, Natural Bridge; Mrs. Belle Kring, Briar Hill, and Mrs. Emma House, Carthage; two sons, Elmer, of Rodman, and Marva of Adams Center.
