Ex. Mechanic, Farmer, Kenneth R. Klock Dies

Kenneth R. Klock, 70, of 4 Antwerp St., a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, died early Sunday morning at his home after a long illness.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, with the Rev. Richard Graves, pastor of Indian River Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sanford Corners Cemetery, Calcium.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the Bodman Library Memorial Fund, care of Jean Livingston, Philadelphia, or the Philadelphia Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; a son, Stephen, Philadelphia; his mother, Ina, Philadelphia; a brother Darrell, Adams Center, and a sister, Mrs. Glen (Bonnie) Call, Evans Mills.

A sister, Virginia Morra, died previously.

Born Sept. 29. 1924, in Philadelphia, a son of Glenn and Ina Keller Klock, he graduated from Philadelphia High School in 1942 as salutatorian and served in the Army Air Corps in Europe and Africa until 1945.

He married Margaret Casse on Nov. 10, 1946, at the Philadelphia Methodist Church parsonage with the Rev. Walter J. Suits, then pastor, officiating.

Mr. Klock was a mechanic at Klock Brothers Garage for 13 years and later owned and operated a dairy farm until retiring in 1988.
He was a 50-year member of Robert Markwick Post 798, American Legion, and a member and past president of Philadelphia Milk Producers.
