FLORENCE I. HATCH, THERESA
DIES AT AGE 73

Theresa -- Florence I. Hatch, 103 Island Avenue, wife of Walter Hatch, died Thursday morning at her home after being stricken with a heart attack.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Frederick Brothers Funeral Home, with Rev. Becker, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, officiating. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held during the memorial service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Elaine Farrell, Theresa, and Mrs. Joan Ostrander, Jamestown; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a brother, Clarence Klock.

Born April 7, 1919, in Theresa, daughter of Charles E. and Melissa Bartlett Klock, she was graduated from Theresa High School and married Walter Hatch, May 3, 1940 at Felts Mills, with Rev. William W. Williams officiating.

She was employed as a clerk until 1956 at Klock I.G.A. Store, owned by her family. In 1956, she and her husband moved to 103 Island Avenue. The couple owned and operated a convenience store in Theresa.

Mrs. Hatch was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since April 16, 1940.
