Fern Richardson Dies At Age 88 in Hospital

Lafargeville -- Mrs. Fern Richardson, 88, Orleans Four Corners, died Monday evening at the Edward John Noble Hospital, Alexandria Bay, where she had been admitted April 27.

Arrangements are incomplete with the Frederick Brothers Funeral Home, Theresa.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Noreen) Fitchette, LaFargeville, and a son, Douglas, Syracuse.

Fern L. Richardson Rites Set Thursday

Lafargeville -- The funeral of Mrs. Fern L. Klock Richardson, 88, Orleans Four Corners, widow of Charles B. Richardson, who died Monday in Edward John Noble hospital, Alexandria Bay, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Frederick Brothers Funeral Home, with Rev. Samuel Gilmore, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours will be today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Norinne) Fitchette, LaFargeville; a son, Douglas, Syracuse; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Born in the Town of Orleans, 16 Jun 1893, a daughter of Willard and Adele Myers Klock, she had since lived in the Town of Orleans.

She was married to Charles B. Richardson 23 Sep 1922. The couple operated farms in the Orleans Four Corners vicinity.

Mr. Richardson died 16 July 1945 at the age of 56.

Mrs. Richardson formerly was a member of the LaFargeville Rebekah Lodge.
