Fayette C. Bowhall, 60, Balmat-Harrisville Road, retired St. Joe Minerals employee, was pronounced dead on arrival at Edward John Noble Hospital Wednesday at 5: 15 p.m.

He had been taken to the hospital by Gouverneur Rescue Squad after being stricken at his home.

The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Burr-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Frank I. Smith, pastor, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Somerville Cemetery in the spring.

Calling hours at the funeral home are tonight from 7 to 9.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Sullivan, Harrisville, R. D. 2. A brother, Fred, died in December 1977.

He was born at Spragueville, June 29, 1925, son of Archie L. and Verda Howard Bowhall, and attended school at Spragueville.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and had worked on area farms before being employed by St. Joe Minerals, where he worked from 1965 to 1985.
