Antwerp -- Funeral services for Mrs. Cynthia Fairbanks Klock, 47, widow of Erastus C. Klock, will be held this afternoon at 2 at the home in Madison avenue with Rev. Lester W. Wakeman of Brownville, former pastor of the local Methodist church, officiating, with Rev. Howard M. Woodman, present pastor, assisting. Burial will be made in the family plot in Hillside cemetery.

Mrs. Klock had been ill for three years with a spinal ailment, which caused her death. She passed away Monday at 10:30 p.m. at the home.

She was born Nov. 6, 1893, in Oxbow, a daughter of the late Silas and Charlotte Hughes Fairbanks. She received her education in the Oxbow school. She came to Antwerp in 1910 and was employed by the F. X. Baumert Company until her marriage on Sept. 1, 1915 to Erastus Klock of Antwerp. The ceremony took place in the home of Mr. Klock’s mother, Mrs. Fannie Klock, Antwerp. Rev. F. J. Felshaw, then pastor of the local Methodist church, officiated.

Mr. and Mrs. Klock started housekeeping in the Symonds house in Main street and in 1917 purchased their present home in Madison avenue where they since resided. Mr. Klock died Nov. 17, 1939. He was instantly killed in a car accident on the Philadelphia road while assisting a passing motorist.

Mrs. Klock was a regular attendant of the Methodist church as long as her health permitted. She was a member of the Gleaners class of the church school.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Cox of Antwerp; one sister, Mrs. Edith Cook of Long Beach, Cal., and two brothers, Delbert and Chester Fairbanks, both of Oxbow.
