Lafargeville -- Charles B. Richardson, 56, farmer, died Monday at 5. p.m. at his home on the Theresa road, one mile from Lafargeville, after an illness of a year.
He was born in Gananoque, Canada, 9 Sep 1888, a son of William and Minerva Landon Richardson. He went to school in that community and came to the United States when he was 16.
On 23 Sep 1922, he married Miss Fern Klock of Lafargeville, Rev. Mr. Eddy, then Methodist minister here, officiating. He was a member of the Lafargeville I.O.O.F.
Survivors are his wife; one son, T/5 Douglas Richardson, Marseilles, France; one daughter, Norinne, at home; one brother, William, Gananoque; and one sister, Mrs. Edgar (Bertha) McCalpin, Gananoque.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the home, Rev. H. Roberts Mallabar, Methodist minister, officiating. Odd Fellow services will be held at the grave. Burial will be in the Lafargeville cemetery.
