MRS. ADDIE M. PHELPS, 61, PASSES AWAY AT CHAUMONT

Chaumont, June 1-Mrs. Addie H. Mount Phelps, 61, wife of Capt. Perl Phelps, died at her home at about 8 a.m. Sunday. Mrs. Phelps had been in ill health for about 20 years, but her last illness was only of a few days duration.

Mrs. Phelps was born at Three Mile Bay, Jan. 6, 1870, a daughter of the late David and Mary Klock Mount. Mrs. Phelps is the last of that family. On Oct. 24, 1892 she was married to Perl Phelps. They have always lived in this section. Mr. Phelps is a sailor.

Mrs. Phelps was a member of the Presbyterian church and Sunday school, and was an active worker in the church for a number of years until her health failed and she was obliged to give up the work. She was also a member of the Blue Bird Birthday Club.
Mrs. Phelps is survived by her husband, Perl Phelps,one son, Donald M. Phelps of Watertown, and one grandson, Robert Phelps of Watertown.

Funeral services will be held from the home Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. R. C. Dumn, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove cemetery.
