Morris Klock Dies at Age 59.
Gouverneur.

Morris A. Klock, 59, of Gouverneur, Route 5, died at 7 a.m. Monday at the Syracuse Veterans Administration Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sprague Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley E. Brown, pastor of the Massena United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Harrisville Cemetery with military rites performed by V.F.W. Post 6338.

Calling hours will be after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home . An Elks Lodge service will be conducted at 8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; a son, Morris, Carthage; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Linda) LaRock, West Carthage, Mrs. Sharon Lewis, Felts Mills, and Mrs. Fayette (Janice) Bowhall, Balmat; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Franklin, Theresa, Frederick, Philadelphia; five sisters, Mrs. Sterling (Ordetta) Sharpe, Madrid, Mrs. Howard (Lucinda) Dennee, Gouverneur, Mrs. Merrill (Beverly) Sharpe, Madrid, Mrs. Robert (Zelphia) McIntosh, Antwerp, and Mrs. David (Frances) Dudley, Auburn; nieces and nephews. Four brothers and three sisters died before him.

Born in the town of Gouverneur Oct. 28, 1921, a son of George and Edna Simmons Klock, he attended Vernon, DeKalb, Fowler and Hermon school s and Ogdensburg trade school.

He married Beatrice Morse May 23, 1942 in the Spragueville Methodist Church parsonage with Rev. Daisey Harvey officiating.

He worked for the International Talc Co., where he was employed until retiring in 1974 due to ill health. He was a miner, millwright and machinist and a packer-foreman for a time.

He was buried in Harrisville Cemetery, Harrisville, Lewis, N.Y. He married Beatrice Morse.
