Klock Family Reunion at Fort Klock, August 7. 2004. The all day event will feature a 9:00 A.M. Erie Canal Trip by boat, Lock 33, Herkimer Home tour, and Margaret Reaney Memorial Library tour. You must be at the St. John's Reformed Church, 70 W. Main St. in St. Johnsville by 8:15 to sign up for the tour. The church is a large brick church just about a block west of the traffic light in St. Johnsville. The bus will leave 8:30 Sharp. You will not want to “miss the bus” on this reunion folks. The cost of the tour will be $40.00 per person with 50% down. This will cover the entire cost for the bus ride, boat trip, with a narrative on the Erie Canal and how the locks work, plus admission to Herkimer Home, lunch and a donation to the Margaret Reaney Memorial Library and Lock 33. Space will be limited, only the first 80 people who send in their advance reservations will be able to attend the tours. We are also planning a Chili Dinner at the fort after the tour, which will be cooked outside over an open fire in a large pot. Donations will be accepted for the Chili Dinner. You can use the form below to sign up. Remember the next Klock Family Reunion will not be held until 2006. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
Please note: Sunday services will be at Snell’s Bush Church followed by the Snell Zimmerman Timmerman reunion the FIRST Sunday in August which is August 1.
