Mrs. Julia Alexander Klock, 89, widow of Milton R. Klock and former resident of Watertown, died Tuesday evening at 7 at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Frank (Jessie A.) Wenzel 78 North Allen street, Albany, after an illness of seven weeks.

Mrs. Klock was stricken ill Nov. 28, and had since been confined to her bed. Prior to that time she had been in good health. She visited her daughter, Mrs. Grace Klock Hayes 29, Emerson Place, this city, last August. Mrs. Hayes is the widow of former County Treasurer B.F. Hayes.

She had resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel, in Albany for about 23 years.

Mrs. Klock was born in Watertown, March 9, 1849, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Alexander. She resided in this city until Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel moved to Albany, at which time she accompanied them to that city.

Her husband, a building contractor, died here in 1914. While a resident of this city Mrs. Klock was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Hayes, city, Mrs. Anna M. Wolferz, Nutley, N.J., Mrs Hosea D. (Bertha E. ) Fisher, Oswego, and Mrs. Wenzel, Albany; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The body will arrive in this city Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and be removed to the Wilcox & VanNess funeral parlors, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Rev. Dr. Darwin F. Pickard, minister of the first Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Brookside cemetery.

Friends may call the funeral parlors Thursday evening.

Julia Alexander was born March 9, 1949 and died in Albany on January 17, 1939. She married Milton Klock (Stephen, George G.I., George I., Johannes, Henrich Jr. and Hendrick Klock) who was born May 14, 1847 and died in 1914.
