John Klock Dead at 66

Funeral services for John S. Klock, 66, of 432 College Heights, Watertown, formerly of Carthage, were conducted Tuesday morning at the Simpson-Lundy Funeral Home, Watertown, Rev. Douglas Decker, associate pastor of St. Patrick’s Church, Watertown, officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown.

Mr. Klock was pronounced dead on arrival Saturday evening at Mercy Hospital, Watertown. He had been ill three months.

A daughter, Miss Debra Klock, Saranac Lake, survives.

Born Feb. 3, 1914, in Watertown, Mr. Klock was the son of David and Carolyn Sweeney Klock. He attended Watertown schools.

Mr. Klock was employed as a salesman by the former W.W. Conde Hardware Company, Watertown, until 1962 when he joined Roberts Hardware, Utica, retiring in 1977. Mr. Klock also served in the Air Force, attaining the grade of lieutenant.

A live member of Watertown Lodge 496, B.P.O.E. He also was a member of the Watertown Council, Knights of Columbus.

A marriage to the former Anna May Ritz Alexander ended in divorce.
